We Own That

Today we made the biggest purchase we have made in our combined lives. We just closed on a 1976 Valiant 40. Her name is Halcyon and she is a graceful sailboat, full of character.

We surveyed the boat two weeks ago, which gave us a chance to explore her innards and outards. Here are some pictures from that adventure.

And here is when we knew we had to buy this boat. During the surveyer's lunch break, while just John and I were aboard, a rainbow kissed the bow :-)
